Riding the Wave, Touching Stillness Levels I - IV
Craniosacral Work with a Biodynamic Perspective
Taught by Heidi Wilson
$295 per Level, deposit of $150 required at registration
EARLY REGISTRATION OPTION - $250 if paid in full 30 days prior to start date

This series of workshops is now being offered as part of a certification program for licensed therapists. Students can still take the courses for continuing education credit only, but now there is a choice to go deeper. Those who choose the certification track will have some additional requirements and support in rounding out their education in this work and will receive a certificate when that process is complete.

November 7-9
Riding the Wave, Touching Stillness Level II
Friday, November 7, 5:30-8:30pm
Saturday and Sunday, November 8 & 9, 9:00am-5:00pm

Level II is a continuation of development of sensitivity to the experience of the potency of the Breath of Life. Included will be techniques for treatment of Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction (TMJ), migraine headache and sinusitis. The practice of removing the effects of gravity to release patterns of trauma in the tissues of the limbs will be explored.

Riding the Wave, Touching Stillness Level I
Friday, August 15, 5:30-8:30pm
Saturday and Sunday, August 16 & 17, 9:00am-5:00pm

Level I is an introduction to sacred touch, the practice of deeply listening with our hearts and hands from a place of compassionate stillness. Included in this course will be a look at the history of craniosacral work, an introduction to the structural elements and the fluid dynamics of the craniosacral system: the bones, central nervous system, tissues, fluids, potency and the motion and stillness as expressed by the tidal movement of the Breath of Life within the body. Participants will work with hands on contacts to sensitize our hands to the energetic experience of each of the major bones of the craniosacral system.

Level IV includes: experience of the diaphragms of the body, treatment of injured or stressed joints, practice of tonal match in balanced fluid tension and balanced potency tension.

This hands-on career workshop teaches basic massage techniques for the back. Foundational information will be shared, such as State Licensure, National Certification and career path options. The end of the session will include a question and answer portion.

• In-demand occupations are found in National High Growth industries. Massage Therapists work in the following High Growth industries: Health care and Hospitality.

• Nationally, Massage Therapy has a “faster than average” projected growth rate.

• In Arizona, the occupation is projected to grow a 3.2 percent annual rate, faster than the 2.2 percent growth rate from all occupations in the state.

• Of the estimated annual openings for massage Therapists in Arizona, 61.5% will be due to growth, that is, the creation of new positions.
