Eligibility
Those who meet the following requirements are eligible for our programs:

  • have high school diploma or GED
  • are 18 years of age or older
  • are committed to participating mindfully in the complete course of study
  • are able to study and practice outside of class
  • have demonstrated ability to set direction and follow through to completion
  • have an established yoga practice (Yoga Teacher Training applicants only)

Application Process
To apply for any Providence Institute program:

1. Submit your application to The Providence Institute. Upon receipt, you will be contacted by the Director of the program to which you are applying to schedule an interview.

2. Compile the following items as outlined in detail in the application packet to complete your admissions file:

  • Official high school transcript or GED
  • Two letters of reference
  • Health Statement
  • Personal Statement
  • Proof of professional massage or shiatsu treatment
    (Massage and Shiatsu program applicants only)
  • Statement of yoga experience
    (Yoga Teacher Training program applicants only)

Credit for Previous Study or Life Experience
Credit will be granted on a case-by-case basis. Applicants requesting credit may be asked to submit official transcripts, diplomas or other forms of verification of subject matter studied. Demonstration of skills in a practical evaluation and/or a written exam may be required. When credits/training are accepted, tuition may be prorated.
