Hours of Operation
The front desk is staffed from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday through Satuday and from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sundays. Please refer to specific programs for class hours.
Library
A reference library of required and recommended texts is maintained and includes a general collection of books on Eastern and Western bodywork, yoga, human sciences, exercise sciences, energy work, and nutritional healing.
Housing
We are happy to provide resources to students who are relocating to Tucson. The school does not offer student housing.
Academic Support
We are committed to supporting students in completing the program. We offer the following academic support:
Tutoring
For those students who would like to increase their comprehension of course material, tutoring is available at an additional hourly rate. Students who are not maintaining satisfactory academic standing may be required to receive tutoring.Language Competency
As all classes are conducted in English, students are expected to be able to speak, write, read, and understand English.Learning Challenges
We will work to support students who need special consideration due to physical or learning challenges. Students with special needs will be asked to meet with their program director to determine what the needs are and how they can be met.
Job Opportunities/Placement
The Providence Institute has established itself as a provider of quality education. Our graduates are sought after and employed in diverse environments including spas, resorts, healing centers, yoga studios, retreat centers, chiropractic offices, and private practices. In continuing support of our graduates, the Providence Institute offers an employment listserv as well as an on-site directory where job opportunities are posted regularly. As part of the educational process, students gain employment skills such as resume writing, interviewing, and other professional practice development tools.
