Those who choose the certification track will have some additional requirements and support in rounding out their education in this work and will receive a certificate when that process is complete.
August 15-17
Riding the Wave, Touching Stillness Level I
Friday, August 15, 5:30-8:30pm
Saturday and Sunday, August 16 & 17, 9:00am-5:00pm
Level I is an introduction to sacred touch, the practice of deeply listening with our hearts and hands from a place of compassionate stillness. Included in this course will be a look at the history of craniosacral work, an introduction to the structural elements and the fluid dynamics of the craniosacral system: the bones, central nervous system, tissues, fluids, potency and the motion and stillness as expressed by the tidal movement of the Breath of Life within the body. Participants will work with hands on contacts to sensitize our hands to the energetic experience of each of the major bones of the craniosacral system.
September 26-28
Riding the Wave, Touching Stillness Level II
Friday, November 7, 5:30-8:30pm
Saturday and Sunday, November 8 & 9, 9:00am-5:00pm
Level II deepens your experience with the practice, cultivating sensitivity to the biodynamic expression of the Breath of Life. Treatments for Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction, migraine and tension headaches, and sinusitis will be introduced, in addition to exploring “fluid limbs”, a practice to release patterns of trauma and inertia. This workshop provides an opportunity to share and discuss your experiences and questions with this work thus far.
November 7-9
Riding the Wave, Touching Stillness Level III
Friday, November 7, 5:30-8:30pm
Saturday and Sunday, November 8 & 9, 9:00am-5:00pm
As a connection develops to a deeper stillness within yourself, your clients are able to resonate with that stillness, accessing this source of healing. Level III explores the cultivation of the experience of witnessing “ignition” in the ventricles of the cranium as well as the “Inherent Treatment Plan”, as a sense of presence and comfort with the work emerges. Treatments for low back and pelvic pain/conditions will also be introduced.
